Foxconn Integrates Humanoid Robots for Nvidia into its Factories

Foxconn is integrating humanoid robots into the production line at its AI server facility in the U.S. The facility is set to be a pioneer in becoming an AI-powered smart factory based on Nvidia Isaac GR00T N.
Foxconn announced that it will integrate humanoid robots into the production line at its AI server factory in Houston, U.S., for Nvidia. According to the company’s statement, Foxconn, a global leader in electronics manufacturing, will utilize humanoid robots for Nvidia’s AI servers at its Houston facility.
Starting Work in 2026

According to a Reuters report, following discussions between Foxconn and Nvidia, the humanoid robots are initially targeted to be deployed in the Houston factory in the first quarter of 2026. Foxconn’s statement emphasized that the factory will be one of the first facilities to integrate humanoid robots, powered by the Nvidia Isaac GR00T N model, into its production lines. This step aligns with the company’s and Nvidia’s goal of establishing a world-leading AI smart factory standard.
Foxconn also announced that it will continue to increase its AI server production in its facilities in Texas, Wisconsin, and California, alongside Houston. Chairman Young Liu stated, “Our team is bringing the most advanced AI data center solutions to the United States to help our leading customers stay ahead in the AI race.”
Supported by Nvidia’s Omniverse Technology

This process is supported by Nvidia’s Omniverse technologies. The company has expanded its “Mega” Omniverse Blueprint to include libraries that enable the creation of factory-scale digital twins. Siemens was the first company to develop digital twin software supporting this technology, while FANUC and Foxconn Fii are among the first manufacturers to support 3D digital twins of robot models. Thanks to Omniverse, engineers can design and optimize large-scale factories with real-time data, simulating production processes to enhance efficiency.
Besides Foxconn, companies such as Belden, Caterpillar, Lucid Motors, Toyota, TSMC, and Wistron are developing AI-powered solutions to improve factory performance, safety, and supply chain through digital twins and Omniverse libraries.
